The Short Story

I love love. I am drawn to being a wedding planner because it adds value to people's lives. It's work I have natural talent for and can use to help others.

I planned my own wedding for 2025, and those two years were amazing, as was the day itself.

I am skilled in organization and have been called Type-A a time or two. I’m creative and artistic, and I’ve even self-published a novella. I know how to weave those two talents together to create a magical, smooth-as-silk wedding day.

A Few Fun Facts

  • I'm a big fan of Romantasy books, from Stephine Meyer, to Sara J Mass, to Raven Kennedy. Love ‘em all!

  • I have a little fur baby, Penny, who we call the manager of the house. She’s always meowing to keep us on time, especially when it comes to treat time.

  • I learned needlepoint from my father.

  • My marriage is between a Wiccan and a Catholic.

  • I self-published a 60K word novella.

  • I’ve visited 36 states and hope to someday see them all.

  • I am a huge theater nerd. I am currently loving the resurgence of my all-time favorite Broadway show, Wicked!

The Long Tale

I have always loved loved. The entire concept fascinated me from a young age. In elementary school, two of my dream jobs were Broadway director or wedding planner. Life is rarely as easy as the dreams we have in childhood, but that doesn’t mean the dreams themselves can’t come true.

Trying to find purpose in life is a zig-zagy road that will take you more places than you ever knew existed, or at least it did for me. In my mid-20s I started studying wedding planning, buying how-to books and even going to bridal shows to learn about the industry and network with professionals.

However, I didn't share many of the experiences most of the brides had. At that point in time, I had never been kissed, never been in love, never even had a boyfriend or girlfriend. I realized I needed more life experiences and to find peace within my own sense of self before I could help others in the way of a Wedding Planner. So, I closed the door on the profession and moved on.

I explored many career options over the next decade or so. I went to art school for film, I worked in multiple customer service roles, completed my undergrad in English, and found great joy and skill in writing stories, be they novel-length or only a thousand words.

As the pandemic lifted in 2021, I met a man. We spent a month sending each other essay-long texts and on our first date, we knew. Two years after that, I'm planning my wedding to the man of my dreams, my Excel sheet is making my heart sing, and I just wanted to stay in that space forever. Vendors begin telling me I’m one of the easiest brides to deal with because I’m so ahead of schedule and organized. I lament to my fiancé that I'll never get to plan another wedding. Without realizing what he’s about to do, he opens that door I closed so long ago, by saying two simple words, “Why not?”

With his, and some of my vendors’ encouragement, I opened that door inside my heart that I’d closed long ago to discover that much had changed in the last decade, I had changed. I had gone through my own version of the experiences which are necessary to fully embrace and execute the work of a Wedding Planner.

In February 2025 I had a spectacular wedding. It took two years of planning and
was worth every bit of effort and work I'd done to make it coalesce into a dream.

Now, all I want is to help more couples find that same joy and
happiness using my natural organizational and storytelling skills.

Together, let’s make the Stars Align and turn your dream wedding
into a reality.
